Mrs K Restrick announces the marriage of her daughter Diana Marion to Mr Charles D Crymble, son of Mr & Mrs C Crymble. The marriage took place Monday, November 7, at 10.30 am in Shaughnessy United Church with Rev J B Kent officiating. Mr and Mrs Crymble are spending their honeymoon in California and on their return will reside in North Vancouver.

RESTRICK – Suddenly on May 10, 1980, Gordon Chauncey, of Coquitlam, in 69th year. Survived by his loving wife Olga; sons, Ron, Patrick, and Alex; daughters Gail and Maureen; 3 grandchildren. Private family service was held on Tuesday May 13. Cremation Garden Chapel, Forest Lawn.

RESTRICK – Olga (nee Diduch), passed away December 19, 1995, age 73 years at Eagle Ridge Hospital, after a short struggle with cancer. She was predeceased in 1980 by her husband, Gordon. She will be sadly missed by her son, Ronald (wife Wendy), daughter Gail (husband Colin Roberts), son Patrick (wife Pam); daughter Maureen (husband Gary Johnson) and son Alexander and her 11 grandchildren. … Service will be held at 10.00 am Friday, December 22 at the Burquitlam Chapel, 625 North Rd, Coquitlam. In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Diabetes Assoc.

RESTRICK – In memory of a father, husband, brother, uncle and friend to many, Patrick Dale Restrick – July 10, 1958 – May 26, 2005.
Pat left us on Thursday, May 26 2005, after a hard fought battle with lung cancer at the age of 46. He leaves behind his loving, devoted sons, Christopher (wife Maggie), Ryan and their mother Melody; Mackenzie and Parker, and their mother Nancy; daughter Carla and grandson Liam. Also his 15 year lifetime partner Pam, and her children Joe and Dawn. His eldest brother Ron (wife Wendy), Jessie and Jason; sister Gail (husband Colin) and Vanessa; sister Maureen (husband Gary) Chelsea and Gordy; and brother Alex. Lifelong friend Dave and his family, co-workers at Ford Metro and CP Rail. Included also are many aunts, uncles and cousins in British Columbia, Winnipeg, and Minnesota. Pat touched the lives of everyone he met for the better. He enriched us and enlightened us. His undying loyalty and love towards his large family and friends know no boundaries. He was a special, unique, amazing person, never to be forgotten. We will always love and cherish him in our hearts. Till we meet again, Pat, we love you.
William E Maines was born 11 April 1897 and was the fourth son of James Restrick (Restorick) born 1860 in Plymouth, England, who settled in Hungerford, Ontario. William was adopted by his mother’s brother John Maines and his wife Millie after his mother Maggie Maud died in 1899 a year after giving birth to twin daughters. He married Mary Jane Colden on 8 January 1919 and had eight children. See Colyton Chart 2.1b(a). He is buried in Bethel Cemetery, Chapman, Hastings County, Ontario with his wife Mary Jane who died in 1982 and their youngest son Lynn who was born in 1941 and died in 1959.
